TradeIQ Kit

The TradeIQ Toolkit

The TradeIQ Toolkit is a unique and powerful collection of indicators designed to enhance your trading experience. Combining advanced support and resistance methods with robust signals and a range of additional features, this toolkit stands out as one of the most sophisticated options available for traders.

Created in collaboration with ChartPrime, this documentation covers each component to help you maximize the potential of your toolkit.

Main Toolkit Features

Signals

The TradeIQ Signals offer a fresh approach by clearly displaying take profit (TP) and stop loss (SL) levels directly on your chart. These signals are trend-based and are generated when the price begins to reverse. When a trend reversal is detected, two main components are produced:

1

Signal

The signal itself indicates the detected trend reversal and whether it’s a Long (potential price rise) or Short (potential price drop).

2

TP & SL levels

Take profit and stop loss levels are drawn on-chart to guide entries and exits. As the price progresses, take profit signals are generated to guide your exit strategy. You can adjust the distance of these TPs using the TTP setting; a value around 3 is generally healthy.

More on signal settings:

  • Sensitivity: Adjust how frequently or sensitively signals are generated. Lower values produce smoother signals, while higher values yield more trades.

  • Shadow Feature: Helps with trend identification by providing additional visual cues.

The toolkit includes colored candles that complement the signals, available in two modes: Trendy and TIQ Alpha. Trendy candles reflect classical trend-following colors, while TIQ Alpha candles focus on market momentum and money flow, resulting in a clean blue and purple color scheme.

Trendlines with Breaks

Trendlines provide insights into support and resistance levels and overall trends. Enable trendlines in the TradeIQ toolkit by navigating to the Trendlines setting and turning it on. This setting draws trendlines when there are two confirmed touches.

Trendlines with “B” tags suggesting a change in trend

Key points:

  • Adjust Macro or Micro trendlines via the scale dropdown for longer-term or short-term trendlines.

  • Toggle historical trendlines using the records input.

  • Choose how trendlines are drawn (from wicks or body of candles).

  • When a trendline is broken and a trend change is identified, a B label appears to confirm the change (e.g., a red downwards trendline with a green B confirms an uptrend).

  • Polarity: A broken trendline can switch roles from support to resistance (and vice versa).

  • Green trendlines generally act as resistance, while red trendlines serve as support levels.

Support And Resistance

Enable Support and Resistance via settings to display blue and pink zones. When price reaches these levels, a bounce is likely. If the price is above the zone, it indicates buy orders placed there (support). If the price is below the zone, it likely contains sell orders (resistance).

Users can:

  • See labels for higher and lower level values (useful for TP or SL).

  • Adjust the color of levels and the maximum number of zones displayed.

Predictive Ranges

Predictive Ranges provide a real-time price action range on the chart. Price may find support and resistance at these levels. Adjust the length used to detect the range (default 50 bars; reduce to 10–20 for more frequent ranges). These ranges are useful suggestions for stop loss and take profit levels.

TIQ Breaks

TIQ Breaks display X marks where market structures have been broken. This feature visualizes popular SMC concepts.

  • Red X: bearish break of structure (support or pivot broken downwards).

  • Green X: bullish break of structure.

Traders can use these levels as confluence or cautiously consider them as signals.

TIQ Profile

The TIQ Volume Profile provides deeper volume analysis. The left side shows relative percentage of volume at each level; the right side displays actual traded volume. Green values indicate net buying (bullish); red values indicate net selling (bearish).

Readings on the Volume Profile

Settings and usage:

  • Length: number of bars to analyze (default 250).

  • Position and number of bins (levels) can be adjusted for granularity.

  • Look for peaks in volume as areas of support/resistance; low-volume zones may indicate “no man’s land” where price may not respect SR—exercise caution.

  • Optionally toggle a histogram to break down volume per bar and enable a moving average to detect volume breakouts.

TIQ Tracer

The TIQ Tracer provides trend-following confluence:

  • Orange colors indicate an uptrend.

  • Purple indicates a downtrend.

It can filter signals and serve as a support/resistance zone where prices often bounce. Use MTF functionality to bring data from other timeframes into the chart via the dropdown menu.

TradeIQ Oscillator

The TradeIQ Oscillator combines predictive and trend-following methods. It has two main components:

  • Foreground oscillator (purple and green) — displays bullish/bearish waves and can predict reversals.

  • Background oscillator (green and red) — classical trend-following histogram.

Background histogram usage:

  • Green bar: uptrend.

  • Red bar: downtrend.

  • Histogram above 0: uptrend; below 0: downtrend.

  • If histogram is above 0 but turning red, momentum is fading and a reversal may be impending.

Combining both oscillators allows trading both predictively and reactively. Settings include automatic divergences and optional overbought/oversold zones to provide additional reversal suggestions.
