How to set alerts on ChartPrime Oscillators Step by Step

The ChartPrime Oscillators toolkit allows traders to set alerts for various events, including but not limited to:

  • Divergences
  • Buy or Sell signals
  • Peak Seekers
  • Overextended conditions
  • Unusual volume

Using the built-in alert functionality in TradingView, you can set alerts by following these steps:

Step 1 - Select Alert Conditions and Timeframe

First, navigate to the timeframe and chart where you want to set alerts. For example, if you want to set alerts on the BTCUSD 4-hours chart, open that chart.

Next, open the settings for the indicator by double-clicking on a signal label or clicking the gear icon in the top right corner. Scroll to the bottom of the settings.

Want to set more alerts or edit an alert?

TradingView alerts remember the settings used at the time of creation. To set another alert, change the chart, the settings and repeat this process. It will not override your other alerts. To edit an alert and the settings used, you will need to delete the old and re-create.
