How to set alerts on ChartPrime Oscillators step by step

The ChartPrime Oscillators toolkit allows for traders to set alerts on multiple events. These include but are not limited to:

  • Divergences
  • Buy or Sell signals
  • Peak Seekers
  • Overextended conditions
  • Unusual volume

By using the provided and inbuilt alert functionality in TradingView; we can set alerts using the following steps:

Step 1 - Select alert conditions + timeframe

Firstly navigate to the timeframe and chart you want to set alerts on. For example; if you want to set alerts on the BTCUSD 1m chart; open this chart.

Then open the settings for the indicator by double clicking on a signal label or the gear icon in the top right. Scroll to the bottom of the settings

Want to set more alerts or edit an alert?

TradingView alerts remember the settings used at the time of creation. To set another alert, change the chart, the settings and repeat this process. It will not override your other alerts. To edit an alert and the settings used, you will need to delete the old and re-create.
